Salary: £34,272 London and £31,671 for Glasgow, Durham, and Lytham Non-London sites
Closing date: 12.12.2022
Term: FTC 23 months contract with possibility to go perm
The organisation: Government organisation with 40 people in the finance team.
The team is split between business partnering and financial control with this role sitting in the business partnering side. You would be joining a friendly supportive team and the organisation has a history of offering progression within and great learning opportunities.
About you:
- Actively studying towards an accountancy qualification
- Must have some experience within a finance team with some experience in financial management including Budgeting and Forecasting
- Confident presenting and advising to stakeholders up to board level
Job description: Business partnering
- Support annual budget setting to ensure that financial resources are used in line with the organisation's priorities and future strategic plans
- Support and provide cover for the FBP working collaboratively to deliver information and analysis to directors and budget holders; having regular meeting to review spending and challenge financial forecasts with these stakeholders.
- Monitor, investigate and explain any variances from these budgets
