We're looking for an influential Finance Business Partner to work for our client, the world's largest independent soft drinks manufacturer. This is a varied role, a mixture of management accounting and business partnering, and is a great opportunity to gain financial experience with a leading FMCG company.

You might currently be working as a Management Accountant role with audit responsibilities but have the right attitude and values to develop the business partnering aspect of this role, or you may already be a finance business partner looking to expand and develop your career supporting commercial and marketing teams.

Please note: This is a full-time permanent role based at the company's Kegworth Head Office, easily accessible from Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, Derby, and surrounding areas. Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Fridays 8.30 - 4.00 with the option of working remotely two days a week and free onsite parking.

The Role
- Supporting the Marketing team to determine pricing / marketing strategy for the Own Brand business
- Re-costing full product range to deliver in year price increases to customers
- Prepare management accounts and reports, including reconciliation of month end, for Own Brands
- Clear down balance sheets and accruals ensuring only those that are required remain
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to understand the opportunities for each brand and create action plans to gain achievable volume and profit forecasts
- Provide insights, turning data into actionable, clearly thought out, recommendations related to costing and pricing proposals, taking all commercial details into account

The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role will be a qualified accountant with significant exposure to cost management, financial modelling and forecasting. An FMCG, Food Production or related industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Retail, or other Manufacturing background would be ideal.

- Excellent presentation skills, able to present financial information clearly to deliver key drivers
- Analytical thinker with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A strong communicator who is confident to question and challenge senior stakeholders
- Good practical knowledge working with finance systems including ERP / SAP
