Our highly regarded, Global Insurance client are committed to investment and growth, currently moving through a period of with significant investment and digital development planned throughout the business are looking for a Propositions Business Analyst to join the Marketing and Customer Experience team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Ideally for this Propositions Business Analyst role the successful candidate will have experience in General Insurance, Call and Contact Centre, Price Comparison or come from a strong Financial Services background.
This is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience delivering projects which will be delivered through a combination of organisation, propositions, culture, process, and technology, their ideal candidate will have experience working alongside customer facing projects in proposition development and launching new products.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
* Proven experience of customer projects in proposition development and launching new products
* Proven experience within General Insurance, Call and Contact Centre, Price Comparison sites or strong financial services experience
* Experience with understanding and translating complex business requirements
* Collaborative approach with managing stakeholders’ relationships especially with key executive relationships
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to interact with Executives, Senior Management, and external stakeholders
* Thorough understanding of general insurance products, in particular personal lines business
* Highly commercially aware, ability to understand and evaluate financial business cases/plans and modelling
* Strong influencing and communication skills – influencing non-Finance managers and Executives
* Analytical problem-solving skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Accurately and efficiently document business requirements / user stories
* Take ownership and responsibility to see problems through to conclusion
* Develop deep understanding of the business and actively contribute to the definition of the new proposition
* Work with key stakeholders across the organisation to understand requirements, analyse the as is, define and support the deployment of the to be
* Ensure programme progress, risks and issues are reported, documented, and escalated as required through appropriate governance channels
* Actively support progress on at least the following workstreams: product & proposition; finance and back-office operations; business readiness; strategy
* Draft reports and presentations for both updates and signoffs
* Actively track activities through to completion
