Company Accountant (Newtownabbey)

Hunter Savage is delighted to be recruiting a Company Accountant for a leading commercial business based in Newtownabbey.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant to work for a company that really invests in its people and is focused on staff development. The company boasts an extremely high staff retention rate and is widely recognised as being the premier business within its sector.

The successful Accountant will report directly to the Finance Director and will oversee the daily running of the finance function whilst providing advice to Senior Management and the Shareholders.

This role will suit an Accountant who is keen to progress their career in a friendly, supportive environment.

The Role:

• Manage the day-to-day aspects of the finance function


• Preparation of monthly management accounts


• Budget and cash flow forecasting


• Payroll Processing


• Statutory accounts preparation and management of annual audits


• Providing cover for all members of the finance team


• Any other ad hoc duties as required

The Person:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience


• Previous relevant experience


• Experience working in a collaborative environment


• Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
