The role has come about through internal promotion which is a perfect reflection of the progressive nature of the company. You will be reporting into an inspiring leader who has been within the business for 10 years. This role will give you full autonomy, including sole responsibility for the audit process. You will also work closely with both the Financial Controller and the CFO.
The main duties and responsibilities within this position include:
* Working with external auditors as the business’ key contact for the audit process
* Preparation of the year end statutory accounts
* Working closely with and supporting the tax and reserves team
* Ownership of the day-to-day cash requirements across the group as well as the monthly cashflow forecast
* Managing treasury arrangements including intercompany balances and foreign currency arrangements
You will be a qualified accountant (ideally ACA or ACCA) with 1-2 years’ PQE, however this is not essential. You will have strong Excel skills and be confident in preparing financial statements.
