My client is a Not for Profit organisation who are based in North Nottingham, within 30 minutes from Derby and Mansfield. Due to someone going on maternity leave, my client are looking to add to their team. Description

The Management Accountant will primarily be responsible for the preparation of the management accounts, preparing reconciliations and processing the necessary journals. Additionally, the Management Accountant will keep the fixed asset register up to date, review the aged debtors report regularly, prepare the balance sheets, explain reasons for performance variances against budget as well as forecasting.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be AAT qualified (or equivalent)
• Have a good working knowledge of the whole month end process including budgeting and forecasting
• Have strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Have excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal
• Be a team player

Job Offer

The candidate can expect a starting salary of £27,000-£33,000 (doe) + a 1 year contracted position + hybrid, flexible working 4 days working from home + flexi time working hours + a supportive, friendly working environment + 27 days annual leave + 20% employer pension
