Your background
  • Post Graduate / Graduate with minimum 10+ years experience in Banking Operations.
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ensuring adequate controls are in place and Support Client Services and Implementation on client review and requirements
  • Regular interaction with Internal and External stakeholders, clients and peers across branches for job related activities.

Account setup / maintenance and management Branch, Product maintenance and management Knowledge in Customer Account Opening (including Nodal, Internal, Nostro / Vostro, Partner Bank, Clearing, Inter branch/Pool, NRE/SNRR, Escrow etc) Overdraft Account Opening Knowledge in Account Maintenance including billing, cheques books management, pool structure, lien arrangement etc Knowledge and management around deposits processing, closures, tax collection and reporting Knowledge around management of charges setups, accounting, reconciliation and tax reporting Regulatory Reporting Local Regulations and Global standards

What you can expect.

The role requires the candidate to support India data localization requirements and replacing / migrating core payment and deposit applications for the bank.

What you will do
  • Interact with the business/product users and technology partners to help drive the requirement, architecture discussions
  • Assist in formulating business requirement document with relevant stakeholders and lead walkthrough sessions
  • To be single point of contact for all product and technology functional queries with regards to respective domain
  • Assist in managing technology queries with regards to operations processes and system flows
  • Participate in demos and requirements discussions and provide functional and domain related inputs
  • To have a good understanding of operations improvement areas in related domains, analyze and provide possible solution requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with good written communications
  • Effectively handle day-to-day banking operations with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to recommend procedural and automation enhancements to increase efficiency
  • Provide training and assisting in development of other team members or newly joined associates
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
