Actively seeking a Junior Cost Accountant to join a food manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate will be well-organised and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Financial Manager with:

• Costs vs. Profits Analysis: Measuring fixed and variable costs to determine profit margins - over-all and by project. This information will be used for several purposes, including revenue and growth projections.
• Refining Supply Chain Costs: Analysing items in the supply chains to understand their expenditures and identify inefficiencies. Looking for ways to decrease supply chain costs.
• Assisting with Pricing Strategies: Creating reasonable, profitable pricing decisions based on cost inputs.
• Developing Budgets: Assisting in developing spending budgets for various departments - using cost analysis to create accurate projections and control spending.
• Support Business Decisions: Providing crucial data on inventory control, activity-based costing, and operational performance.
