Job & Company Description:

This Wealth Trust Company is on an urgent lookout for a Financial Accountant on a 12 month contract basis. The main function of this role will be to deliver support to the Snr Financial Accountants while jointly being responsible for delivering timeous and accurate accounting on an ongoing basis to support effective decision making.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the following:

• Carry out bookkeeping, procurement, invoicing and payment operations, including the relevant administration
• Identify risks and proactively implement reconciliations and controls
• Maintain updated, accurate bookkeeping operations to ensure that the ledger is always a reliable source of information
• Prepare financial reports
• Perform timeous reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reports for management including variance analysis and commentary by agreed timelines
• Manage budget centre reporting
• Drive process improvements and simplification

Education:

• BCom Accounting or Similar

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 5 Years technical accounting experience and relevant financial/investment services experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Crypto currency experience (non-negotiable)
