Description
- Lead the budgeting and planning process for the Group including quarterly outlooks
- Produce high quality month end and forecast output with clear and concise commentary
- Business partner key stakeholders & Directors across the group
- Ensure financial results are clearly communicated including preparation of monthly cost and FTE reports that are timely and accurate
- Ensure consistent standards in terms of process and reporting quality and work collaboratively across the finance team
- Prepare variance analysis, understanding key drivers and one-off items
- Support wider business with ad hoc projects to provide greater insight into performance
- Build strong relationships across the Business Areas to become a trusted business partner
Profile
Essential:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) preferred, QBE and newly qualified considered
- Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
- Clear thinker with the ability to present simple analysis from complex data
- Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Team player
- Able to business partner and communicate with non-finance stakeholders effectively
- Self-starter
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Desirable:
- Experience of business partnering and cost planning in previous organisations
- Experience of project reporting and planning in previous organisations
- Degree qualified
Job Offer
- £50k+ salary
