Brightwork have the pleasure of supporting a growing and striving Engineering client in the quest of finding an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant. This role would be based on a fulltime permanent basis in their offices in Dunfermline.

On Offer

Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday



Salary:
£25,000

Office Based

Responsibilities
  • Matching invoices to delivery notes.
  • Checking matched invoices against purchase orders.
  • Posting invoices.
  • Preparation of BACS run at middle and end of month.
  • Posting payments.
  • Meeting all supplier and customer payment deadlines.
  • Reconciliation of statements.
  • Resolving supplier queries.
  • Keeping ledger filing up to date and current.
  • Managing month end accruals.
  • Other ad hoc duties relevant to the efficient running of the function.

The Successful candidate will
  • Have previous experience working within a similar role and have a background within an account capacity
  • High attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills
  • Friendly and positive attitude
