Work in close partnership with the Bard Manufacturing, Technical Operation Finance Team and Supply Chain, to support the business in key in depth financial analysis and reporting.
Support the delivery of the Financial Plan and Month End processes for the site by proactively providing relevant and timely financial information to support senior management with data driven decision-making.
Support in making sure the company has the accurate and timely financial data available as decision base to support business, to sustain the company's operations and to safeguarding the organization's assets.
Support Bard finance team to ensure financial accounting and reporting processes are in adherence to internal and external guidelines and standards and an effective set of financial policies and controls.
Act as a key point of contact in responding to BARD cost of sale finance questions from internal and external parties.
  • Financial analysis
    • Preparation of timely and accurate Cost of Goods (COG) & Inventory, P&L for month end/quarterly/annual actual close periods and bi-annual budget process, with clear and insightful variance analysis and driver
    • Preparation of and insight into changes in Labour & Overhead absorption rate calculation in order support the business to understanding the site running costs
    • Calculation, maintenance, and review of standard costing and selling prices
    • Provide in depth analysis of the end-to-end process of COG from manufacturing through to impact on the sales COG from end market, to provide insightful variance analysis of the monthly movement and key drivers
    • Detail Inventory analysis including SWO, provide analysis on trends, aging of the inventory and variance from budget
    • Provide Analysis on P&L variance and trend reports to support Tech Ops reporting
  • Accounting & Reporting
    • Support the BARD Finance Manager to ensure financial statements are in accordance with internal control around COG and Inventory
    • Support financial compliance and implementation of an efficient and effective financial control framework and delivery the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing processes to tight deadlines
    • Support efficient operational accounting processes in collaboration with the Financial Shared Services Center (FSSC) and dataflow to the FSSC.
    • Assist with external audit for BARD COG, Inventory & SWO
    • Assist with Year End and Statutory Reporting for US GAAP and Tax
  • Collaborative working across Technical Operation Finance, FSSC, Warehouse and Supply Chain
    • Setting and monitoring of individual objectives
    • Responsibility for fulfilment of all tasks and services in a timely manner
    • Work closely together with all stakeholders within BARD team and other function to ensuring combined understanding of the common goals are met by delivering on time and provide support across functions to ensure their goals are also met
