Job Purpose
To support the Group Finance Manager in the delivery of all aspects of the Exchequer Function including Treasury Management, Payments and Income Management.
The post holder will contribute to the development, maintenance and direct supervision of financial systems and processes which support the effective management and delivery of Exchequer Services within East Ayrshire in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Finance and ICT Service Plan and the Community Plan
Requirements
We follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks namely "Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment". This is a permanent full time post working 35 hours per week. The admin base for this post is The Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock.
Normal office hours are Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm & Friday 9am - 4pm
Annual salary £43,553 - £47,627
The workstyle for this post is 'Mobile' - 20-49% of time is office based. Able to work at home, or another location, or travel directly from home to other locations and client visits out in the field.
