Payroll Officer/ Accounts Assistant

Meals London - Cumberland Park Royal

Shift - Monday to Friday 8.00am -4.30pm (must be able to work a half day on bank holidays and time off in lieu will be given)

Salary - Up to £27,000 based on experience

ideally the successful candidate would have worked in a payroll environment for over 12 months.

Bakkavor Group is a leading manufacturer in the fresh foods market, specialising in developing private label products for top global grocery retailers and well known international foodservice operators.

In the UK, our customers include some of the UKs best known grocery retailers including Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Asda and Morrison's, who sell our products to consumers under their respective retail brands.

The successful Payroll Officer will provide a high level accurate payroll service to all current Bakkavor internal customers whilst adhering to the agreed service levels, through the entire payroll process. Working within the MyHR Service Centre to deliver great customer service aligned to the Bakkavor values.



Responsibilities:


  • Respond to all queries, emails and telephone enquiries to the agreed Tier 1 level of support for the MyHR Service Centre


  • Undertake Payroll customer service administration tasks


  • Ensure the timely and accurate payment of salary payments, pension contributions and reward deductions to all Bakkavor units and employees


  • Manage the TMS clocking system


  • Contact managers with TMS queries


  • Send daily reports to management


Requires Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience within a fast-paced payroll environment
  • Previous TMS experience is desirable
  • Sales Ledger background desirable
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is an essential for this role
  • Good judgment & decisions making skills
  • Conscientious, respectful & self - motivated
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Organised with the ability to work at pace
  • Computer Literate (All Microsoft Packages)
