About YOUR new job:
Reporting to the Finance Manager of Operations, this role has been created to support operations nationally by providing strategic business insights and commercial advice to assist the management team in reaching their business goals.

The core tasks aligned to this position will include:

• Partner with the operations team to forecast and analyse the financial performance to enable further decision-making capability
• Manage the annual Budgeting process including monthly forecast
• Take the lead on planning activity and strategic initiatives to drive further growth
• Provide weekly P&L reporting
• Complete the month-end process to ensure all Profit and Loss accounts are completed on timely basis
• Investigate and explain variances and trends by providing analysis relating to the costs and profit margin variances against budget and forecast and identifying the drivers for material variances.
• Driving improvement initiatives to simplify, streamline and document transactional tasks.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business

About YOU!

• Will hold a professional Accounting qualification
• Has prior experience performing the above-listed tasks
• Is proven at helping non-financial stakeholders reach their business goals
• Can bring their technical accounting skills to best understand the impact on business strategy
• Has strong MS Excel skills and experience in an environment with multiple systems
• Comes from a commercial industry background such as FMCG, Retail, consumer products or manufacturing
