We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly ambitious and motivated team player to join the successful team in Queenstown, as a Business Partner.

We spoke with our Senior Partner in Queenstown, who let us know the following about the role:

What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

New and existing client meetings in the office or off-site.

Proactively contacting new and existing clients.

Growing relationships with local professionals.

Working through funding requirements to help our customers grow.

Being part of a great team and helping us become the best.

What is the team culture and environment like?

You'll have colleagues that serve customers in our local branch and others in similar Partners roles. We're one team, we care about each other, we celebrate our successes and learn when things don't go perfectly.

What is your management style?

I'm passionate about building a team where everyone knows the role they play in our success. I build trusted relationships and set expectations to help us grow.

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?

To make a difference to local businesses and to help build a high performing team. The priority is to build a profile with your existing clients and within the business community to help us bank the best businesses in town.

What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?

We have some work to do to be seen as the only choice for great local businesses. But who doesn't love a bit of competition?!

What will success look like for the candidate in this role?

Portfolio growth by attracting great local businesses to bank with BNZ. Creating genuine advocates with customers and local professionals.
