Service Line Overview

KPMG’s outsourcing services provides long term outcome-based solutions to our clients. We help our clients transform their operations by applying best practices, operational excellence, subject matter expertise, leading edge tools and technology resulting in better, faster, more efficient, and high-quality outcomes to meet our clients’ most critical business needs. We are now looking for high calibre individuals to join our team to support the growth of KPMG’s outsourcing business.

Key Responsibilities

This role is a commercially oriented, “beyond the spreadsheet” role to provide financial analysis support for growth of KPMG’s outsourcing business.

Detailed responsibilities:

• Provide financial analysis, costing, pricing and contracting support to the Commercial Leader and Engagement Partner for long term outsourcing contracts.
• Contribute to pricing strategy and contribute to commercial approach for long term outsourcing deals.
• Work closely with solution architects to produce costing models.
• Perform scenario analysis for volume and unit price combinations. Produce pricing tables.
• Prepare deal P&L, assumptions and financial metrics. Prepare internal KPMG approval packs.
• Work closely with Commercial Leader to draft pricing terms and payment terms to be included in an outsourcing contract. 
• Work closely with client to explain pricing tables and explain pricing assumptions.
• Support Commercial Leader in negotiations and discussion with clients for pricing and payment terms.

Experience & Background

• Strong analytical skills, good communication skills with an enquiring mind are a must. 
• Candidates need to demonstrate their understanding of cost drivers, revenue drivers, volume sensitivity and able to identify risks and assumptions in commercial models.
• Ideal candidates will have experience with costing and pricing long term services contracts.  
• A CIMA qualification or studying for CIMA is preferred, but other financial or accounting qualifications are acceptable.
• Proficiency in English required, proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin also preferred.
