ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER

Processes job-site generated invoices
Analyzes expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment
Oversees reports regarding cash flow; ensures correct payments are made promptly
Reconciles outstanding open payables
Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies
Communicates with project accountants regarding invoice discrepancies, sales tax issues, documentation requests, and training needs
Verifies coding and approvals for overhead invoices
Reviews credit card statements for coding, approvals, business purposes, and ensures the correct amount due
Reconciles vendor statements and conducts research on old existing checks
What the construction company needs in an Accounts Payable Manager:
5+ years of High-Volume Accounts Payable experience
Construction accounting experience required
Experience with 1099 process and accruing sales tax
3+ yeas of experience in a supervisory role highly preferred
Must be detail-oriented, independent, and available to work well cross-functionally
