Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is looking for a seasoned software sales leader to manage a team of +10 sales representatives. This is a highly strategic position for someone to drive an end-to-end solution from ideation to operationalizing the solution working closely with technical resources, services, and channel partner teams. This role requires leadership to be ambidextrous and provide business value interacting with clients while being able to adequately deep dive, into our software portfolio solutions that IBM offers.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to help clients accelerate their adoption of IBM's Data and Automation capabilities. Your responsibilities will include client engagement, partnership across brand, channel partners and industry sales teams, driving sales execution. In addition, you will engage with other solution experts, channel partners and professional services to drive large and highly complex sales opportunities to closure.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 4+ years of experience in sales team management experience
- 5+ years of customer-facing experience, in selling Data Automation, solutions with one of the major vendors in each practice
- Executive level / C-Suite presentation experience, including robust knowledge of client negotiation, procurement processes and policies
- Proven experience on business development strategy, sales territory management and operational experience with leading technology companies
- Requires strong willingness and relentless ability for experiential learning emerging technologies and transformative solutions
- Provide overall leadership to surrounding IBM teams, channel partners and clients around IBM's Hybrid Cloud strategy
- Requires strong proficiency and ability to showcase pre-packaged solution demos to client business and IT leaders -our clients and channel partners
- Comfortable managing and operating in a highly matrixed environment across IBM teams to stay focused and drive success for IBM and our clients

- Experience working across multiple channels including Digital/Inside Sales, Marketing, Channel Partners, Technical and Services teams
