Purchase Ledger Clerk
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our valued client in Ascott Drive, Allenton, Derby, for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their experienced and dedidcated team on a permanent contract.
High volume purchase ledger invoice processing. A mixture of dedicated large supplier responsibilities, with control of process from, delivery notes to statement reconciliation to batch entry of smaller suppliers.
Salary of £21,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits package.
Key
responsibilities:
* Input purchase invoices into the computer system
* Match POD’s
* Scan invoices into the document retrieval system
* Liaise with buying department and depots with invoice differences
* Answer supplier queries
* Check remittance advice to invoices
* Assist department with any other work
About you:
* Some purchase ledger experience would be preferred but not necessary as full training would be provided
* Experience of Microsoft AX would be advantageous
* Ability to use Microsoft office packages such as Excel, Word and Outlook
* Accurate data entry skills
* Have a methodical and organised approach
* To work as part of a team but on own initiative
