A crucial project for the business, the candidate should expect to play a pivotal role in analysing a large volume of financial data for a remediation project. The firm needs a talented, creative, and confident data analyst who can work with senior stakeholders to deliver an effective outcome.

The Role

Our client needs a skilled data analyst with a strong understanding of finance who can work together with the CFO, project manager and CIO and includes the following responsibilities:

• Data cleansing and data modelling
• Mapping data into excel using SQL and reviewing existing scripts/code
• Advanced excel skillset - manipulating large volumes of financial data within excel to evaluate various scenarios
• Project documentation - for assurance purposes the business needs clear outlines on data discrepancies, adjustments, code review and outcomes
• Business Partnering - the candidate needs to be able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and an external assurance party who has been engaged to assist with reviewing financial data for a remediation project

This project has a minimum period of 6-months with the opportunity to extend depending on the scope

Your Profile

You will be a CPA/CA qualified or nearly qualified data analyst who is a confident communicator and creative thinker. A commercially driven individual, you hold a passion for building processes and solving complex problems.
