Established in 2000, my client holds comprehensive stocks at the Northampton premises, supplying an extensive range of products on a nation-wide basis. The client is renowned for their high level of customer service, extensive product range and competitive prices, making them the obvious choice for your architectural ironmongery requirements.
Due to growth of the company my client is looking for an accounts apprentice to join their team. They will need to be a confident communicator, be able to use their own initiative and have good attention to detail.
Main duties and
responsibilities:
- Printing of supplier invoices.
- Loading invoices on to accounts package.
- Checking discrepancies on invoices with the relevant person.
- Filing invoices.
- Checking monthly statements.
- Asking for a copy of invoices if needed.
- Completing supplier remits for payments once a month.
- Answering and responding to queries.
- Putting together invoices.
Minimum requirements:
- A 'can do’ attitude.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Confident on the telephone.
- Strong concentration.
- An eye for detail.
- Opportunity to gain a permanent role once successfully completing apprenticeship.
This role is supported by the AAT level 3 + Bookkeeping apprenticeships standard delivered by Starting Off.
