Position Summary:

ADT is offering an exciting opportunity for select students majoring in Accounting to join our 2023 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate office in Boca Raton, FL. This will be a 10-week program to attract emerging talent eager to learn and be a part of ADT's success as we continue to empower customers to protect and connect to what matters most through safe, smart and sustainable solutions. We are seeking a current or graduating student who is ready to apply knowledge of financial terms and principles to an authentic real-world experience. The intern will be exposed to all aspects of the month-end close and will also work with members of the Controllership team on other project-oriented tasks during the tenure of the program.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Participate in the month-end close process (prepare journal entries, update supporting schedules, etc.)
Reconcile low to moderately complex balance sheet accounts including research and resolution of discrepancies
Rotation amongst the various areas within the accounting group to assist with specials projects



In pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting


Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possesses high energy level, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn
Must be organized and detail oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Comfortable with and able to utilize computer technology
Analytical thinking skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles
Maintains the ability to complete tasks on time and perform well under time constraints
Interest in pursuing CPA
