Introduction
A renowned manufacturing company in the Forestry & saw milling industry based in the Eastern Cape is looking for a Management Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Purpose of the Role
The incumbent will be responsible for the Administrating, monitoring and supervising on key financial performances and functions of the company

Key Responsibilities:

• Finalization of Management Accounts
• Reconciliation and control of intercompany transactions & balances
• Working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions
• Gathering and analyzing trends within an organization's finances.
• Putting together reports for senior leaders.
• Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure.
• Advising on finance-related decisions.
• Developing and managing financial systems/policies.
• Debtors invoicing, monthly trading of projects, liaison with customers and debtors collections
• Assist the Financial Manager where required
• Ad hoc reports & any other functions that are required by management

Minimum experience & qualifications required

• Degree in Finance/ Management Accounting
• Being a newly qualified Charted Accountant will be an added advantage
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant within a large company environment
• Must have worked in a manufacturing environment(Compulsory)
• Must be knowledgeable on D365 or a similar ERP system
• Must have a sound knowledge of IFRS and management of internal controls
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including creating pivot tables, using the V look-up facility
