Randstad Accountancy and Finance are excited to working closely with a well known charity in the Thornbury area. This is a very rewarding role being responsible for the finance function of the charity. This role requires candidates to be fully qualified so would suit experienced accountants or finance professionals.
To support the SMT by developing, introducing and monitoring a comprehensive set of procedures and policies Management decisions on aspects of strategy, policy, development and organisation by supporting the CEO and the SLT in the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Strategic Development Plan and the Quality Improvement Plan. To promote the highest standards of financial accounting, drawing on a sound understanding of best practice and current and relevant regulatory requirements. Produce monthly management accounts, including a review of variances, explore potential discrepancies with the SLT and make appropriate recommendations and advise of the impact on the business. Produce monthly end of year projections based on actuals. Produce monthly departmental reports and present to budget holders. Prepare cash flow statements as required and advise the CEO of the impact on the business. Produce a 3-year budget when required and the annual budget in line with the Strategic Development Plan. Continually review and improve the systems surrounding all aspects of the budgets, forecasts and business planning Preparing monthly bank reconciliations Preparing BACS transactions, reconciling remittance advices with invoices. Assisting with credit control, checking aged debtors and chasing debtors for paymentRandstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
