Following another successful year and significant growth, our client, a rapidly expanding E-Commerce business close to the Warrington area has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven Commercial Finance Analyst to join their head office Finance Team. Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be analytical, proactive, and able to think outside the box, to support the business in delivering its strategic objectives.
The role would suit someone who is AAT Qualified looking to start an accounting qualification or already studying towards CIMA / ACCA. You will have the ability to work with non-finance managers, build relationships and influence decisions. Moreover, you will be passionate about the positive impact that good financial information and insight can make to a company's achievement. You will possess excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment to support the company's growth and optimise for success.
Key Responsibilities * Revenue recognition analysis * Revenue via weekly and monthly reports * Detailed billing cost analysis * Supporting the month end accounting process * Commercial finance reporting to support a highly active commercial team * Customer profitability analysis * KPI reporting * Various ad hoc analyses to support a fast-paced business * Considerable spreadsheet and finance model work
Key Skills * Strong analytical skills, making sense of data turning it into added value information to drive the right actions * Exceptional communication skills * Challenging the business with quantitative analysis * A high level of Excel skills and modelling * Knowledge of the wider functions of finance and a good understanding of business functions and processes * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines * Self-starting and able to identify value- add opportunities
Training & Qualifications * AAT Qualified looking to start an accounting qualification or already on the path (CIMA/ACCA)
