A leading business consultancy have engaged the team at NET Recruit in their quest to identify and recruit a cluster Financial Controller for their thriving offices based in Southampton. This fascinating business are renowned in their constituent space and provide high level consultancy services to a wide cross-section of firms across various sectors all over the UK. They are now looking for a Cluster FC who can help facilitate the growth of some of their key clients by providing strategic guidance, along with operational and financial help and support to highly entrepreneurial MD’s.

Your Role and

Responsibilities:

While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

Define and put in processes to measure the key metrics that will drive business growth.
Provide technical guidance and support to accounting staff at all levels across the group.
To advise on all large investment decisions and provide the final point of escalation on commercial decision making
Drive continuous improvement across all subsidiary companies ensuring systems and processes are optimized.
Coach divisional finance staff on their team management and succession planning.
Advise on all mergers and acquisitive activities.
What will you need to Apply:
Applicants for this amazing opportunity will ideally have trained within atop 20 accountancy practice and have cultivated strong consultative and turnaround exposure throughout their career. Successful applicants will also have exposure within larger firms and have latterly specilalised in leading the financial activities of the high growth SME’s and have evidenced demonstrable experience of facilitating growth by putting in strong MI while also improving controls and efficiencies. Successful applicants will also be qualified accountants (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with the first-rate communication skills to bring people with them on change initiatives.
