About the role...

CIPFA is expanding CIPFA Solutions - Advisory department and looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity.

The postholder is responsible for providing direct support to the Head of Advisory in managing large key consultancy projects, creating a high professional standard of presentation slides, materials and/or reports for key internal and external stakeholders meetings for the Solutions department. The postholder will also provide support to the Senior Solutions Managers (Operations) & (Delivery) in the day to day running of projects and providing support to clients.

The role will contribute to the implementation and maintenance of the following CIPFA accreditations and procedures within the Solutions Department: Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Risk register, Data Protection, and generally, to participate in any follow-up or remedial actions required to maintain compliance.

Key tasks include but not limited to:

• Responsible for supporting the Head of Advisory and wider Solutions team in delivering the CIPFA Solutions Business Plan.
• Working with Solutions team colleagues to ensure effective internal & external client meetings are held with accurate presentations created and delivered during these meetings
• Responsible in delivering consultancy support to clients, these would range from financial consultancy and Non-Financial Consultancy by agreed set deadlines.
• Support the Head of Advisory & Senior Solutions Manager (Operations) in the monthly management accounts process, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, business partners and external associates.
• Responsible for supporting the development of CIPFA products and services, and continually striving to improve our Business Processes.
