Due to the success of their specialist medical department, they are looking to increase market share and therefore are looking for their next AAT or equivalent qualified team member.

They act for a large number of practices offering services such as accounts prep, personal tax & pensions, as well as bookkeeping, cost control, VAT and management accounts.

The Role

This Accountant role will sit in the specialist medical department, and you can expect to be involved in the following:

* Second contact to a portfolio of GP clients, making sure your assignments are well managed and work is completed on time.

* Preparing annual accounts and tax computations for sole traders and partnerships

* Participate in client meetings as needed as well as managing client expectations

* Managing all work efficiently, profitably and in accordance with the Company’s procedures

The Person

You will be AAT qualified or equivalent and have experience working in practice. You should have a good understanding of personal and partnership tax as well as being computer literate. Having the ability to adapt to new software quickly and easily would be an advantage including Sage, IRIS and Xero.

You will be a customer service expert, managing and exceeding client expectations as well as maintaining your up-to-date technical knowledge.
