Accounts Payable Assistant (AP Clerk) required to join a leading construction firm based in Ruislip, Middlesex, on a full time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an AP Assistant to work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager in a fast paced, high volume accounts role.

Accounts Payable Assistant Position Overview

Carrying out all aspects of purchase ledger within numerous business units
Creating new, and updating existing, supplier accounts
Posting of supplier invoices across numerous business units, ensuring they are coded correctly, and queries are resolved
Work closely with Purchase Ledger Supervisor to onboard suppliers onto the new system
Performing a 2- and 3-way match on invoices, PO's and GRN's within the existing, and new, system
Liaising with suppliers and internal personnel as and when queries and other issues arise relating to supplier invoices, document match and payments
Processing subcontractor certificates and payments
Initiating purchase ledger payments within the online banking system, ensuring all payments are allocated correctly and timely within the accounting system
Performing supplier statement reconciliations on a regular basis
Ensure all suppliers are paid on-time to prevent accounts being put on hold
Assist Purchase Ledger Supervisor with processing employee and credit card expenses Accounts Payable Assistant Position Requirements

This AP role is suitable for an experienced Accounts payable Assistant with at least 2 years' experience
AAT qualifications are advantageous - study support is available
Must be comfortable with high volume invoices and be able to work to strict deadlines
Excellent client facing experience as you will be working directly with suppliers
The company are going through a significant period of growth, flexibility and adaptability is essential

Accounts Payable Assistant Position Remuneration

£24,000 - £34,000 dependant on experience
Monday - Thursday 09.00 - 17.30
Friday 09.00 - 16.00
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Based in Ruislip, Middlesex
