Interaction Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a reputable local client in their search for an Assistant Accountant to join their team near Barhill, Cambridgeshire
Working as part of the small but friendly finance team, you will be responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable and Receivable, working with the Management Accountant to support the efficient running of the department.
Typical duties include:
All aspects of purchase ledger, including coding, posting invoices, queries and reconciling supplier statements Assisting with Accounts Receivable ledger, including invoicing, customer statements and export documentation Assisting with stock accounting queries Supporting the Management Accountant with month end functions, such as journal preparation and posting, reconciliation and adjustments VAT and HMRC export and ONS reporting Month end reporting Adhoc duties to support the team Applications are welcomed from individuals with the following skills and experience:
Previous experience of working within an SME accounts environment is essential IT Literate, Microsoft Excel is essential Experience of working with an ERP system would be advantageous Team player with a flexible attitude This client is happy to offer hybrid working, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
