A fast-growing manufacturing business is searching for a Management Accountant to join their Yeovil based team

Your Company:

An excellent opportunity has become available within a growing FMCG production and manufacturing business, who have partnered with NET Recruit in their search for a talented Management Accountant to join their team located in the Yeovil area. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable finance professional to join a rapidly growing business, during a time of heightened success leading the company to expanding their presence across multiple sites. With future projects and further expansion planned, the business is looking for a Management Accountant to further assist non-financial senior management with understanding and utilising financial information to underpin important business decisions.

Your Role and Responsibilities

While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts
  • Identify and journal accruals and prepayments
  • Analyse the Profit & Loss accounts for any missing costs and variances, as well as conducting balance sheet reconciliations
  • Recording and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
  • Additional duties including, weekly revenue reports, VAT returns, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Creating reports and communicating financial information to non-financial stakeholders to aid understanding for business decisions

What you will need to Apply:

The ideal candidate for this position will be a fully qualified management accountant, interested in an exciting new opportunity to help a business with expansion projects; or the company will also consider part-qualified individuals looking to continue their studies and progress their career further. You should have prior experience in handling management accountants and be a confident communicator, happy to present information in a clear and concise manner which is easy to understand. For this role, you will need to be organised and possess good analytical skills as well.

For the successful candidate, the business will offer a starting salary of up to £35,000 depending on previous experience and knowledge to accompany a generous package including a good holiday allowance, competitive pension contribution and additional perks.
