FANTASTIC NEW OPPORTUNITY – Finance Assistant, Rugby, Up to £27,500 p/a, Office based
Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working with a multi-national, market leading, manufacturing organisation based in the Rugby area. They are looking for a Finance Assistant to come on board at an exciting time for the business.
The Role
In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions within the business. Duties include (but are not limited to):
Purchase ledger accounting ensuring invoices are input with timely processing for payment
Sales ledger review and invoicing
Regular review of debtors and chasing of outstanding debt
Monthly cashbook postings and reconciliations
Monthly general ledger journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset register
Assistance with balance sheet reconciliations
Producing weekly cashflow reports for management review
The Person
The successful candidate in this process will be someone who is confident to enter this business and communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders, building strong working relationships as you go. Also:
Multiple years of experience in a similar role
IT literate (excel), SAP experience is desirable but not essential
Exposure to a variety of different finance aspects
Keen eye for detail, highly organised, and able to prioritise
Willing to travel into the office 5 days a week
