Our client is part of UK's biggest hospitality group, set up by husband and wife over 20 years ago. Within the group it consists of over 100 different small businesses working together across the UK and they have no plans to stop growing either!
The role
We're on the lookout for a Payroll Specialist to join our brilliant (we might be slightly biased!) People team.
Payroll is one of the most important functions in our business. No matter how great a place we are to work, pay is still incredibly important and getting it right is fundamental!
You'll play a key role in making sure this happens with 100% accuracy and on time. You'll be a statutory compliance and finance legislation expert and will know professional payroll and pension services like the back of your hand.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as payroll specialist
Experience of using cascade and working in an operational HR function
Extensive knowledge and experience of UK payroll operations and current statutory legislation
(SSP/SMP/PAYE/NIC etc) and pension requirements
Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
Strong Microsoft Office skills including word/excel/outlook
Knowledge of industry-based payroll softwareWhy join?
