We have the pleasure in confirming the recruitment of an experienced Management Accountant/Finance Manager for a company based within the Worksop area.

This is a fully office based position and working Monday to Friday, 8-4.

Reporting to the General Manager, your key responsibility will be delivery of the Group management accounts accompanied by insightful commentary and variance analysis. You will also ensure that underlying financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with relevant accounting standards. You will be able to identify key areas of financial risk and flag these to the wider business. The implementation of rigorous controls and processes will be key to this role and there will be significant opportunities to design and drive improvement.

Responsibilities -
• Be responsible for execution of the month-end accounting processes and delivery of the Group’s monthly financial reporting in accordance with Group policy.
• Prepare draft budgets and forecasts in line with business requirements.
• Be responsible for administration of the UK payroll.
• Prepare the UK tax returns and coordinate with our advisor's in each market for preparation of their own returns.
• Support the wider business in the development of an enhanced treasury process to support the growing needs of the business.
• Be responsible for collation of Group audit deliverables as required.
• Recommend controls and process improvements to ensure accurate reporting and ongoing mitigation of risk.

Requirements -
• A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/QBE) or in the final stages of obtaining a qualification.
• Experience of working in a SME environment with change management exposure.
• Experience of delivering management accounts, commentary and variance analysis.
• Experience of UK payroll administration.
• Strong IT literacy skills, particularly working with spreadsheets.

£43-45K
