£20,967-£21,817pa inclusive of London Weighting. Salary based on Business and Learning Support scale

Full Time, Permanent

36 hours, 52 weeks per year


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated Finance Assistant (Purchase Ledger) to join our friendly Finance team based at the Enfield campus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of financial duties including processing purchase orders, matching invoices, making payments to suppliers, maintaining supplier accounts, assist with processing student bursaries, assist with processing cash collections for banking and reconciling designated balance sheet accounts.

The ideal candidate will have purchase ledger, cashiering, numeracy, communication and IT (Microsoft Excel) skills. The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work accurately processing invoices handling and accounting for cash and credit card takings on their own, as well as being a member of an effective and a busy Finance team. The successful candidate is also required to have some experience of working in an accounts/finance and cashiering environment as well as using a computerised accounting package.
