Reporting to the CEO and with help from a Non-Executive Director, your role will include: managing the overall finance team and ensuring it runs effectively and efficiently, develop financial reporting packs including financial performance, monitoring and forecasting cash, budgeting, helping to develop an overall long term financial strategy for the business, Preparation and presentation of Business Reporting for funding partners, preparation of management accounts, Coordination of and recommendations of key service providers energy supply, insurance etc, recommending and implementing improvements to the firms systems, controls and procedures and any other ad hoc finance assignments and projects that arise. Your role will be varied, challenging and highly rewarding and you will help play a major role in shaping the business going forwards.
To be considered for this new role (November 2022) you must be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with at least 4 or 5 years post qualification experience. You must be enthusiastic, dynamic and entrepreneurial and keen to work for a very high profile, medium size business (£15m turnover) where you can really make your mark and implement numerous changes across the business. You will either be a Financial Controller looking to step up a level, or already be a Head of Finance or Finance Director looking for your next challenge. You must be looking for high levels of responsibility and looking to shape a finance team in order to achieve success. You must live within commutable distance to Swindon, Wiltshire. This is mainly an office based role although the firm support hybrid working and flexible working hours so home working is achievable.

They are going through a period of change, currently streamlining the business and simplifying a number of areas, of which you will play a major part.
