Howarth Morris has been appointed to recruit for a market leading, high growth, international business within the retail sector. Privately owned, my client is ambitious, highly profitable and cash generative. With continued, fast-scaling, expansion; an exciting opportunity exists for a driven, pro-active, and capable Part Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA. Based in Manchester, you will join their talented and outgoing team; offering key reporting and forecasting support across the global business.

My client has made significant capital investment and is now seeking to underpin that growth with new talent. Reporting directly to an inspirational Qualified FC, your responsibilities will include:

Production of monthly management accounts in line with reporting deadlines, including journal posting and variance analysis
Balance sheet reconciliations, Accruals and Prepayments, Fixed Assets, Creditor and Debtor and stock reporting
Produce the Board report and KPI analysis for monthly meetings
Production of year end audit information and assistance including Statutory accounts
Preparation of Management reports to arm the Management Team with key and timely information
Submission of quarterly and annual Industry and Compliance Returns
Analysing the company’s financial performance and making longer term forecasts for profitability and growth
Identifying and implementing potential process and system improvements as agreed with the Finance Controller
Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
Undertake other ad-hoc projects and accounting research as required to support business decisions The business is projected to achieve 50% growth by 2024, and in line with this growth will come opportunity.
