High growth SME construction business are seeking to expand their finance function with the acquisition of a Management Accountant to join their team located near to Chorlton.
As the management accountant you will report into the Finance Manager, and will be responsible for supporting them with General Accounting to help manage the general ledgers of the business and its and affiliates, prepare and maintain the integrity of its financial records.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
* Maintenance of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable journals
* Monthly financial statement preparation, analysis and distribution (e.g. Profit and Loss, Balance sheet, etc.)
* Reports daily/weekly/monthly sales performance reports to senior management
* Completes VAT & Customs returns monthly and quarterly within required deadlines
To be considered for this role:
* Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or similar - CIMA/ACCA Qualification
* Minimum 4+ years' experience in a finance position with increasing responsibilities
* Collaborative style with strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication management skills
* Self-starter and highly motivated, with intellectual curiosity
* Organized, deadline and detail oriented
