THE COMPANY Our client, an established Kingswinford based business, require a Finance Assistant for a Permanent contract. It is essential you have relevant experience in a similar role and ideally with an Engineering or Manufacturing background. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to add real value to the business and work as part of the team.
THE ROLE The role reports to the Financial Controller which is working in a small and busy team. You will be responsible for processing of the purchase ledger invoices from start to finish. Reconciliation of supplier invoices and dealing with all customer queries. Raising sales invoices and chasing aged debt when needed. Posting of receipts and payments onto Pegasus Opera 3 system and general duties to assist the Financial Controller. You might also deal with multi currencies and VAT calculations and be involved in month end payments.
REQUIREMENTS You will have a good understanding of the accounts function with 3 years plus experience. You will be looking to work in a small and friendly team. Knowledge of Pegasus Opera will be an advantage and Advanced MS Excel skills.
