About PEAC (UK) and the PEAC GROUP
Pan European Americas Capital (“PEAC”) Solutions is an independent provider of asset finance and capital solutions across Europe in eight countries including the UK, and in America. In Europe assets total approximately €4 billion. PEAC in the UK has over 20,000 unique customers in the UK ranging from large corporates to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), providing leasing solutions across a broad range of asset classes, from business equipment to plant and machinery and vehicles. Transactions vary in size from £1,000 up to £5 million+.
The UK business operates as PEAC (UK) and PEAC Business Finance (PBF). PEAC (UK) has long standing experience supporting SMEs with their financing requirements primarily in soft assets via Vendor and Broker channels. PBF has a direct client offering primarily focussed on hard assets, predominantly vehicles, and managed by a nationwide network of Relationship Directors.
The group is focussed on expanding and strengthening the relationships it has across more than 500 partners, brokers and vendors in the UK, continental Europe and USA.
Purpose of the Role
The Credit Team has responsibility for all proposals from PEAC UK referred by the automated score card or appeals from the commercial team
The team are also responsible for credit activities in support of Vendor/broker/supplier relationships. This role will act as a key support to the team, the role will provide you with a unique insight into the company which will provide an excellent platform for you to grow and contribute to a high performing and growing business. You must be comfortable operating in a high volume environment, where tasks and priorities will change regularly. You will be a team player who invests high levels of energy in work to achieve individual and team goals.

- Proposals up to £500k to be actioned within 4 hours
- £500k to £1m within 24 hours
- £1m + by arrangement with local credit committee

Key Responsibilities
- Working within a team of credit analysts
- Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved inextending credit or lending money
- Assessing, analysing and interpreting complicated financial information
- Undertaking creditworthiness analysis based on various financial and non-financialinformation
- Ensure all proposals adhere to our AML policy
- Be open and approachable for appeal of your decisions and have the ability to see a dealwhen originally you may not have
- Ensuring strong lines of communication with all areas of the business are maintained
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in Asset Finance underwriting, ideally involved in business finance (SME)
- Experience in reviewing and considering refinance applications
- Highly numerate with the ability to analyse complex financial statements
- Possess a deep understanding of the commercial asset finance marketplace
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Highly numerate
- Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal & external partners
- A committed, enthusiastic and flexible approach at all times
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative
- Graduate qualification in relevant discipline (business studies, accountancy, or economics)desirable but not essential
