Office Based in Park Royal / Acton, West London

A well-established Commercial Utilities company based in Park Royal/ Acton, West London is looking to recruit am Accounts Assistant to join their busy and friendly teams.

The role will be to assist in the accounts payable and general accounting functions of the business.

Duties include:

Manage Accounts payable function of allocated companies including:
Posting and validating invoices on different systems
Dealing with invoice queries
Processing payment runs making sure all due invoices are settled on time
Keeping systems up to date and reconciling system balances were necessary
Assisting Financial controller with various accounting duties including:
Preparing bank reconciliations
Preparing cross system reconciliations for debtors fixed assets etc
Assist with preparation of ad hoc reports
Assist with preparation of monthly management reports
Assist with auditor queries and preparation of year end schedules and reconciliations
Key Skills and Experience:

2 years' experience in public practice or 4 years exp in Accounts payable with part qualifications in professional accounting exams ACCA,CIMA
Excel - intermediate level - inputting data and using filter
Used to using finance systems
Need energetic fast learner, prepared to take on a challenge and perform to deadlines.
Will be exposed to many parts of the finance function and be involved in developing our systems
Finance graduate or working towards finance qualificationsBenefits:
