FINANCE & HR MANAGER SANDBACH PERMANENT- UP TO £35,000

We have taken a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to further their career within Finance, who also has an interest in HR too! The main element of the role is focused on finance, so experience and a qualification within this field is essential. This role will see you report into the Finance and Resource Director, and you will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of both HR and Finance functions. You will be responsible for the following duties

Manage the day to day financial and banking operations using Sage 200

Produce financial reports and information for the Directors when required

Completing all statutory returns

Liaise with Internal and external auditors to ensure that effective risk management and robust internal financial controls are in place

Working with the Finance & HR Assistant to ensure that all monthly reconciliations are completed

Completing monthly VAT returns

Ensuring that payroll is processed in a timely manner and required

Working with department Managers to ensure that all income and expenditure is correctly recorded

Ensure that invoices are issued and correctly, recorded each month, with any outstanding debtors chased in a timely manner.

Managing and maintaining the fixed asset register

Ensuring credit cards transactions are reconciled and correctly accounted for

Ensuring all personnel records are up to date

Assisting with budget setting

Respond to staffing queries regarding their varying terms and conditions of employment e.g., maternity/paternity/long-term sickness leave entitlements

Due to the nature of this organisation, you will be required to have an enhanced DBS check. The successful candidate will have line management experience, at least 5 years of working within a financial environment HR knowledge and relevant accountancy qualifications such as AAT, CIMA or ACCA. Candidates will be proactive, flexible, professional and have high levels of numeracy and literacy.
