Junior FP&A
Can you be that missing piece of the puzzle? My client a highly successful market leader with nearly 100 years of trading is looking to add to their finance team with a financial planning analyst.
To date this has currently been shared via the FC and Management Accountant so is refreshing opportunity where you won’t be filling anyone else’s shoes and will be given the scope to make this role your own.
What you will be doing?
* Reconcile/analyse spending to budget as part of job/product costing.
* Set up and maintain costing system.
* Review and recommend methods and strategies for cutting cost and greater efficiency.
* Provide a monthly sales & profitability analysis
* Provide a monthly Sales & margin report
* Develop a round profitability report, identifying key variables.
* Support finance and wider team in implementation of new Business software
* Advise on financial decisions around profitability.
* Prepare the analysis of financial performance
* Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assisting with Year End statutory accounts preparation
About you.
As already mentioned, this is a brand-new role in which my client is being very open in their search. They want to get the right person more so than the right CV. You will ideally have experienced of reporting, costing and analysis from a previous role, confident using Excel, ideally some understanding/experience of BI reporting.
