As an Assistant Accountant, you will make a major impact on the business through your expertise, strong communication and organisational skills. Does this sound like you?
Role
Responsibilities:
Ensuring expense claims are paid in accordance with the travel policy and amending the policy as necessary.
Company report filling, Intrastat, EC sales list, VAT, imports and compliance administration.
Assist and stand in for the Head of Finance & Controlling.
HMRC reporting and compliance including: Intrastat dispatches and arrivals, EC sales list, VAT, corporation tax payments, risk register.
Import and export recording.
Supervision of the expenses process, expenses are processed via Concur and transaction are completed by the shared service in Poland. Includes the administration of prepaid credit cards.
Cost variance analysis
Supplier Invoice coding
Assist with the tender's process for unusual finance related questions.
Fixed assets register management
National statistics returns
Management of finance process documentation, i.e., signatory limits.
Journal preparation
Assist with external audit
Sales Controlling
Your experience and qualifications:
AAT completed
CIMA or ACCA in progress would be beneficial
Strong organisation skills.
SAP experience is beneficial.
Standard IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Eager to learn and desire for career growth.
