Senior Business Account Manager



Location:
Milton Keynes/ Remote Working (there will be an expectation to visit clients nationally as well as attending the Milton Keynes-based office twice a month)



Salary:
up to £55,000 + £7000 Bonus

Due to expansion and significant growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Account Manager to join an award-winning company. Reporting to the Directors, the Senior Business Account Manager’s primary role is to be responsible for leading and supervising employees to ensure the productivity, and efficiency of operations. You will provide direction on how best to handle different tasks whilst maintaining customer satisfaction. Senior Business Account Managers help implement strategies that will help generate revenue or profitability.

You will also gain maximum contract duration achieving contract extensions with all Clients. This role requires the individual to be able to create excellent working relationships at all levels of the client through Training, support, help guidance and possess an engaging manner.

Key

Responsibilities:


* Primary point of contact for all strategic/operational support

* Responsible for fulfilment and ensuring all SLA’s and KPI’s are met

* Developing and maintaining client relationships with hiring managers and contract managers

* Responsible for turnover and net profits of accounts (including an understanding of any additional costs that are incurred to deliver services to clients)

* Managing off contract spend/ non-usage of the system

* Managing introduction of new spend categories

* Supervising employees to ensure the productivity, and efficiency of operations.

* Producing comprehensive management information

* Delivering formal presentations to senior level clients, Senior Management Team and Board of Directors

* Undertaking client-facing business reviews

* Preparing and reporting monthly budgets and forecast

* Keeping clients informed of additional service offerings

* Working alongside Sales and other colleagues to identify additional opportunities

* Stakeholder management

The successful candidate will possess the following:

* Excellent Senior level Relationship Management Skills

* Contract management and operational expertise

* Retention strategy management

* Highly analytical, with a proven ability to interpret a set of figures and create a key account/action plan to optimise

* Highly proficient in the use of Excel, working off spreadsheets and creating charts to emphasise the commercial position

* Required to articulate the data drawn from spreadsheets and internal systems in such a way as to tell the client a story that is factually correct and compelling

* Show judgement that can be trusted to deliver the right results

* Able to influence client and supplier behaviour whilst maximising profitability
