Job Purpose:
Responsible for key deliverables including client reporting and forecasting, stakeholder management (client and internal), CBRE month-end processes and supporting Global Alliance Director. Finance lead will also own the reported data and maintain full visibility of regional performance, issues and opportunities communicating upwards as appropriate.

Key Tasks:

Client:

Developing high quality and effective Client relationships across the Account
Build strong working relationships with key Client Finance and Operation stakeholders, Global Alliance Director; being a strategic partner to all.
Assist with requests including Client reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner through effective communication and personal accessibility/credibility.
Use position and market knowledge to add value to Client relationship and service delivery.
Capture, report, and drive Account KPI's in the required framework.

Finance Leadership:

Drive high quality financial / commercial performance through understanding the contractual commitments on service lines and ensure alignment with corporate policies.
Identify and help drive implementation of savings opportunities and meet Client financial KPI's to ensure Client savings targets and CBRE profits are maximized.
Take responsibility for Balance Sheet governance and reconciliations together with full compliance with SOX control requirements.
Build and develop high level relationships with all stakeholders including CBRE on-account and peer regional finance and operations teams.
Liaising with all relevant Finance stakeholders particularly the Sector Finance Director and Financial Planning & Analysis.
Communicate regularly with Account finance and contract support staff to ensure they are fully trained and informed of operational objectives, best practice, and key business messages.
Identify, analyze, and resolve potential business risks, as well as opportunities and solutions to enhance business performance.
Implement improvements, drive change, raise standards through the direct and indirect management of staff
Meet client and communicate with Account line managers.
Business partner to Alliance Director supporting operational requirements as required.

Financial Reporting and Planning:

Provide detailed commentary and analysis to senior stakeholders as required.
Deliver best in class GWS and Client management information including annual budgets (balance sheet and cash flow plans), monthly management accounts and forecasts including Profit and Loss variance and Balance Sheet commentaries.
Provide strategic ad-hoc support, influence and manage any financial analysis as required.
Meet Group reporting requirements and deadlines, ensuring this is cascaded to all stakeholders.
Work with the wider CBRE team to roll-out project initiatives to their ultimate completion.
Performing ad hoc tasks as per Line manager and Senior management requests.

Financial Governance:

Manage the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems, identify opportunities to enhance system efficiencies.
Support systems development to maximize efficiency benefits for the Client & GWS.
Have thorough knowledge of policies, procedures and manage compliance of them.
Ensure all controllable Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled including intercompany in line with GWS policy.
Tightly manage contract governance, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the terms and conditions of the contract to ensure that all cost elements are appropriately accounted for.
Manage Trade Working Capital to maximize cash and control integrity and segregation of client cash.
Participate in monthly business reviews and manage agreed actions.
Provide support to Client and CBRE statutory obligations, such as audits.
Ensure all regions are fully compliant with Sarbanes Oxley.

Success Measures:

Success in this role will be measured through defined targets as follows:

Achieving Account Plan targets.
Achieving all reporting deadlines and requirements.
Adhering to all SOX requirements.

Person Specification:

Recognised Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or national equivalent
Excellent PC based skills, with experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook - intermediate to advance level skills are essential.
Expert level analytical and quantitative skills.
Organised and open to new ways of working to challenge inefficiencies.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and able to communicate and develop effective relationships with people at all levels across the account.
Ability to solve advanced problems, both independently and working as a team and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
Presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas across all levels.
Demonstrable experience working in an environment delivering financial information within tight timescales.
Experience driving financial performance within a multi-currency environment.
Strong knowledge of SOX requirements and application.
Reporting in a complex multi-country, multi-divisional, service business (Industry experience) including financial planning and contracts management.
Proven commercial acumen - bringing together financial, commercial, operational and people considerations, to secure the best outcomes.
Providing senior management with financial results and analysis.
Knowledge of Facility Management markets
