The role:

We are currently seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to provide support to the senior finance team and be responsible for the development of management accounts, financials, cash flows, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Audit preparatory work with appropriate reconciliations and information packs
• Improve and develop credit control procedures
• Assist in monthly reconciliation of invoice finance facility with ledger and cash book support
• Identify improvements, develop approved management accounting techniques
• Ad-hoc financial projects

Skills, Experience & Qualifications required:

Essential:

• You must have a minimum of 1 years' proven experience of working within a management accounting role i.e. general ledger work around budgets, variance analysis, costings
• Capability to work under your own volition to support the Finance Management Team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with proactive approach to problem solving
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

Desirable:

• PAYE/Payroll experience
• Recognised financial qualification or studying towards a qualification
• Process improvement experience
