The Role Corporate Financial Accountant
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, as the Corporate Financial Accountant you will work with business units globally to ensure technical compliance with both US GAAP and IFRS.
As a key member of the external reporting team you will assist in the preparation of all external reporting documents for Luxfer Holdings PLC including quarterly and annual reporting to the New York Stock Exchange (10-K / 10-Q), as well as preparation of UK statutory accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries.

Although not essential, experience of working in an auditing or accounting function within an international business and using modern consolidation systems e.g. HFM / OneStream is desirable, as is experience with DB Pensions accounting and accounting for share options.

The Role Corporate Financial Accountant
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, as the Corporate Financial Accountant you will work with business units globally to ensure technical compliance with both US GAAP and IFRS.

Your duties will include:
- Preparing financial statements for each quarter in accordance with US GAAP
- Assisting with the quarter-end preparation file (signed off for SOx)
- Assisting with the preparation of quarterly earnings press releases and presentations
- Preparing and consolidating journals for each quarter end
- Monitoring and reporting of covenant compliance
- Analysing and understanding the business and sharing information and insights
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting on a range of Corporate and business unit finance issues
- Undertaking project accounting, such as involvement in acquisitions/divestments
Our Requirements Corporate Financial Accountant
The successful applicant will ideally come from an external audit background but may have already made the move into industry. In addition, will have the following:
- Experience in either a global business of scale or leading accounting firm
- ACA / ACCA qualification with relevant post qualification experience
- Good understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley (SOx)
- Excellent IFRS technical financial accounting skills, including tax accounting exposure
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Self-motivated with ability to use own initiative, prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
