ABOUT THE ROLE
Were looking for an experienced management accountant who can support in producing our management accounts.
You will work with budget holders across the business to fully understand and challenge costs and ensure the accurate reporting of these in our management accounts.
You will be part of a super engaged, high performing team and have the opportunity to influence and collaborate on some really exciting projects as we continue to grow our fantastic brand.
Assist in producing management accounts with commentary and analysis against various scenarios, including P&L, B/S, cashflow and working capital
Produce and post journals including accruals and prepayments
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and posting of corrections where necessary
Liaise with budget owners to understand and challenge variances to plan
Responsible for statutory returns including VAT and ONS submissions
Assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts, audit deliverables and disclosure notes for the annual audit
Support and drive continuous improvement via tech led automation to gain efficiencies in month end processing and reporting
You will be a part qualified accountant with management accounts experience in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple stores. You will be curious to understand the drivers of costs with brilliant communication skills to liaise with budget holders.
You will have strong Excel skills and a continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiencies via tech led automation.
